Mother killed, 3 others injured during Phoenix crash

A mother was killed during a crash between a pickup truck and a car near 7th Street and Northern Avenue.
Police say a Honda Civic had run a red light traveling eastbound on Northern when it was T-boned by a pickup truck traveling southbound on 7th Street on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters say a man, woman and their two children were in the Civic. The mother, identified as 30-year-old Tina M. Samora, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 27-year-old front seat passenger was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Two children, ages 2 and 4, were properly restrained in the back seat of the Honda and suffered minor injuries.
A 31-year-old man was driving in the pickup truck. He sustained minor injuries.
There were no indications of impairment. The investigation is ongoing.
