LITTLE ROCK, Ark -

According to a letter sent by the superintendent to the staff, all teachers are required to wear underwear and cover up tattoos. The new dress code also requires female teachers to wear bras.

The letter starts off saying "As we transition the NEW Little Rock School District to an organization of excellence, we will strive to improve culture and environment at each level of operation."

"Foundational garments shall be worn and not visible with respect to color, style, and/or fabric," the letter reads. "No see-through or sheer clothing shall be allowed, and no skin shall be visible between pants/trousers, skirts, and shirts/blouses at any time."

The superintendent says the new rules won't go into effect until the start of the 2014-15 school year.
