MOUNT DORA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Mount Dora police are searching for a person of interst after a double shooting outside of a convenience store.

Khiem Trinh described what he heard outside of his store, T&N market, on North Grandview. Police said shots were fired around 4:45pm on Tuesday. "We inside and we heard the sound like a gun sound, bang bang bang!"

Trinh said he doesn't know the victims: Emanuel Brown, 29, and Steven Anderson, 45. "We didn't see anything because we inside the store," said Trinh.

Trinh said he and his wife had one main thought. "Just lock the door," said Trinh. "And pick up the phone and go call the police."

Mt Dora city spokesperson Kelda Senior said an unidentified third man, the gunman, fled the scene along with both victims. "One victim jumped in a car with a driver who then transported him over to the fire/police station around the corner," said Senior. "EMS worked on him for a little while, and then he was transported over to ORMC."

Police said it's unclear whether the second victim drove himself to Orange County or received a ride.  "They found him in Zellwood," said Senior.

Both victims were flown to ORMC. No word on their conditions.

Senior says police arrived on the scene minutes after they received the call…but there were few to no witnesses. Police said they're not sure what started the argument.
