PHOENIX -

Hundreds of US Airways and American Airlines employees will march in Washington D.C. to meet with members of congress about the airlines' impending merger.

The rally will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Hundreds of pilots, flight attendants, gate agents, baggage handlers and other employees from US Airways and American Airlines will take part in the rally.

The group is urging congress to allow the merger to go through.

In August, the Justice Department and a number of state attorneys general challenged the $11 billion merger between the two airlines.

The Justice Department says combining the two companies would reduce competition and would ultimately result in passengers paying higher airfares and receiving less service.

FOX 10's Diane Ryan talks to travelers Wednesday morning about what the merger would mean to them and their airfare.
