Lisa Marie Rosales, 43, charged with possession of drugs and drunk driving
Fraser, Mich., (WJBK) -- A 43 year old mother is in trouble with the law, after police say she tried to pick up her daughter from school while she was drunk and high on drugs. Lisa Marie Rosales was arraigned Thursday on two counts of possession and one count of operating a vehicle with a high blood alcohol content.
Police were called to Richards Middle School Wednesday afternoon after two mothers got into a physical altercation over a parking spot. One woman left before police arrived. While questioning Rosales, officers noticed that she was "highly intoxicated". She admitted to police that she drove to the school to pick up her 13-year old daughter and had been drinking alcohol.
Officers arrested her for drunk driving. They also found her to be in possession of marijuana and oxycontin, which was not prescribed to her. She agreed to a breathalyzer test which showed Rosales had a BAC of .18, in violation of Michigan's "super drunk" law. A judge set bond at $1500.
