Pregnant Weight Lifter Sparks Media Storm

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -

A woman in Los Angeles is sparking a social media storm. It seems that many people don't like her work-out routine.

35-year-old Lea-Anne Ellison is a bodybuilder, but the fact that she posted pictures of herself lifting weights while pregnant is causing some controversy.

Ellison is just two weeks from her due date, and many people criticize her, saying she shouldn't be doing this kind of exercise. FOX asked some people on the street about this.

"Oh my God, oh my God. Wow! That's insane," says one shocked woman.

"I think it's ridiculous. It seems like it would hurt the baby," says another woman.

"Oh my, wow that's crazy, crazy," says a third.

But another woman disagrees with the previous three.

"I think it's fantastic. I think a woman can do anything she sets her mind to, and I think it's a really healthy way of living and things are different now. Its something she should be proud of," she says.

Doctors say that Ellison and her baby are both doing great. Ellison took to Facebook to respond to the criticism, saying that haters will hate, and it's ok.
