ATLANTA -

"In the industry, you get a lot of ‘No's,' and it's good to always stick to it and never give up because eventually, I got my ‘Yes;' and the ‘Yes's' opened me up to other ‘Yes's', and to just never give up because what's for you is for you."

Incredibly wise words from rising star Jahnee' Wallace. This 16-year-old Georgia actress is living her dream right now with a key role on one of the most buzzed about TV shows this Fall: FOX's Sleepy Hollow. And, she's not alone.

Jahnee' and fellow local actress, India Scandrick, are thrilled to be part of an exciting new show that everyone is talking about. A modern-day re-telling of the classic tale, Sleepy Hollow slayed the competition last week. That said, don't expect FOX to ease up on the throttle anytime soon.

"Let's just say you might not like Abbie too much," hinted Jahnee', who plays ‘Young Abbie.' The 16-year-old portrays the adult 'Abbie' character in flashbacks. And, while the Headless Horseman might be give you chills, Jahnee' says filming in the thick forest of North Carolina is right up there, too.

"Well, first of all, I'm a girly girl and we were in the woods, laying down on real woods and real bugs crawling on my real legs," she told Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken.

Thankfully, Scandrick, who hails from Stockbridge, survived the creepy crawlies just fine. At 19, she's already a Broadway vet after spending a year with The Lion King.

"It was amazing," she said. "Every night felt like the first time."

Now, she's dealing with even scarier animals than big jungle cats. She plays Abbie's sister, who has an unfortunate on-screen encounter with a certain someone. You'll just have to wait and see!

Sleepy Hollow airs at 9 p.m. Monday on FOX 5 Atlanta.

The notion of 'Keeping up with the Jones' is not new, but there is a new pressure coming at you. Peer pressure - whether you're 13 or 33 - is a powerful thing. Now throw in social media and you have what an Atlanta counselor calls 'Keeping up with the Jones' on steroids. And if you're not careful that can get costly.
