DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -

There were long lines outside of several shoe stores early Saturday morning for the release of new Air Jordans.

FOX 5 cameras spotted several hundred people waiting in the parking lot at the Gallery of South DeKalb Mall early Saturday morning waiting for the doors to open. Some say they got there before midnight for the 10 a.m. opening.

We spoke with several people waiting at the Wish Clothing on Moreland Avenue in Little Five Points. They say they are waiting for the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Bel-Air" between $150 and $250 a pair. They say they also have been waiting from just before midnight for the store to open at noon Saturday.

Sneakerwatch.com reports that five different Jordans were being released Saturday morning along with at least a dozen other limited edition shoes.

Twitter was buzzing early Saturday morning with similar accounts at malls and store across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
