In the wake of the Federal Government shutdown, public ire continues to grow against Congress members who refuse to pass a funding bill.
A recent poll by the Public Policy Polling Organization graphically reinforces this, finding that of the registered voters polled, 85% disapproved of the job Congress is doing. Only 8% approve.
Democrats, Republicans and Independents are pretty much in agreement on their distaste for the Legislative body.
For comparison purposes, pollsters asked about the public's opinions of witches : 46% approval, jury duty: 73% approval, hemorrhoids: 53% approval, and zombies: 43% approval.
In fact, the only thing those polled hated more than Congress right now were the Ebola virus, Honey Boo Boo and Miley Cyrus. You can see the rest of the poll results here.
