PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police are looking for the person who attacked a blind man in Germantown.

Take a look at the video. It is from Oct. 2. This happened at Wayne Avenue and Seymour Street around noon.

Surveillance video shows a man kicking, stomping and punching the 33-year-old victim.

What's worse is that no one watching the attack did anything to stop it or help.

Residents had strong reactions to seeing the footage.

"A challenged person that can't see is attacked in midday? And no one comes to his aid? That's ridiculous. That's absolute – that's insanity," neighbor Louis Thompson said. "On a busy intersection, Wayne and Seymour, broad daylight, at lunchtime, and no one comes to his aid? It's a city full of cowards."

The victim suffered injuries to his face and head.

Police say they still need to talk to the victim to find out about the attacker.

They also would like to talk with witnesses.

If you have any information about the incident, call Philadelphia police.
