Jason George: It's Like Wonderland

Posted: Updated:

Jason George plays a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy," a lawyer on "Mistresses" and now a police detective on "Witches of East End."  So how hard is it for him to remember which role he's playing on any given day?

"Actually, driving in here this morning," Jason tells Maria Sansone and Araksya Karapetyan on Good Day L.A., "I was thinking to myself, 'OK, it's Adam.  I'm playing Detective Adam Noble today."

And it's on the sets of those three high-profile TV shows that he spends his days.  If you can believe it, at night he has yet another job, this one on stage.

"I'm doing a play now, over at the Pasadena Playhouse. We're doing 'Twelve Angry Men,' and I'm playing the role that Henry Fonda and Jack Lemmon did."

Plus, this production of the classic stage play has a modern outlook, beginning with its casting.  "It's a half-black, half-white cast so you get a little of the Trayvon Martin conversation going on."

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
