Weekend Roundup: Paul Stanley From KISS, Wildlife Learning Center & Magnificent 7

Posted: Updated:

FOX 11's food and fun expert Mar Yvette searches the Los Angeles area for some of the best places to eat, drink, shop and have a great time. Featured guests then swarm our FOX Television Center parking lot every Thursday morning between 9am and 10am on Good Day LA, creating a big party as one jam-packed segment known as the Weekend Roundup!

Here's more information about the guests we featured:

Paul Stanley from KISS

You know him as the guitarist and singer of legendary hard rock band KISS, but who knew Paul Stanley had mad pizza-tossing skills?! Along with bandmate and business partner Gene Simmons, Paul has just opened their latest Rock & Brews location at LAX and the rockin' restaurant offers everything from salads and burgers to craft beer and tasty pizzas. The first Rock & Brews opened in El Segundo in 2012 and has since expanded to locations in Redondo Beach, Hawaii, Kansas City, Los Cabos and beyond.

Wildlife Learning Center

Wild thing, I think I love you. The Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar is your chance to meet dozens of rescued wild animals, and it's located just 30 minutes from Downtown LA. The non-profit is open 7 days a week and this Saturday you can attend their annual Social Safari party where you can feed a huge tortoise, pet a python, feed a friendly porcupine, meet Boomer the beautiful lynx, visit Lola the two-toed sloth and encounter so many more animals. Tickets for the fundraiser on October 7 start at $30 and ALL proceeds go to the care of the animals, so be sure to get yours now!

Magnificent 7 Male Revue

Why go to Vegas when Vegas can come to you?! On Saturday, October 12, at Exchange LA in Downtown LA, the Magnificent 7 Male Revue will let loose and rock the stage with their no-holds barred dance moves and Billboard Music Award winner and emcee David Nicoll. The saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" does not apply here -- attendees will have the chance to take photos with the dance troupe and meet them after the show. You can even do dinner. What a great package ... so to speak!
