Nor'easter Still Poses Minor Flood Threat In NJ

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - The threat of minor coastal flooding continues in New Jersey, especially along the south coast, as a slow-moving nor'easter lingers.

A coastal flood advisory remains in effect for the entire Jersey shore until 6 p.m. Saturday.

Heavy rain has not been much of a problem. However, onshore winds may keep back bays from draining and high surf can cause beach erosion.

Forecasters are predicting the possibility of widespread poor drainage and roadway flooding during high tide Friday and Saturday afternoon.
