Orlando Toyota Land Cruiser more practical than functional

The Toyota Land Cruiser in Orlando first made an appearance not long after World War II ended. It was first introduced in 1950 and was originally designed to function as a military vehicle. Therefore, it was designed to offer a rugged performance and built to be durable. In fact, Toyota first called this SUV the BJ, named for its b-type engine that was placed in a jeep-like model. From there, it quickly developed to meet other transportation needs.

  • In the early 1950s, this new Toyota in Orlando was ready to be produced for the public, but only 298 were initially released.
  • By 1954, this SUV received the name Toyota Land Cruiser, and the following year a whole new model call the Model 20-30 Series was made.
  • In 1960, the Model 40 Series was introduced and this particular line almost lasted for a quarter of a century - that's 25 years! At this point, the model started to broadcast features that drivers today know and appreciate in the Toyota Land Cruiser in Orlando. It began to put more of an emphasis on the passenger's experience instead of just durability.

Over the years this Toyota continued to receive modifications to better meet drivers' preferences. By the time the 1990s arrived, the Model 80 Series made an appearance and it featured a design and components that are most similar to the model that's available to enjoy today!
