Study: Preschool Associated With Increased Hyperactivity In Kids

Posted: Updated:

Could daycare be doing more harm than good when it comes to your child's behavior?

A recent study, from the University of Oxford finds an association between kids who spend more time in day care and the likelihood of hyperactivity.

Researchers say that the most importance influence on a child's behavior is their home environment, specifically, the care they get from their mother.

However, they say that when it comes to preschool, children who attend develop better interpersonal skills and get along better with other kids their age, than those who didn't.
