Whitney Cummings: I'm Such A Filthy Comic, But I'm Proud

A pearl of wisdom from Whitney Cummings.

The comedian didn't say much when she was asked about her breakup with Peter Berg, producer of "Friday Night Lights" and director of "Battleship."

But she did say she finally learned what love is: "Love is being willing to die for someone that you yourself want to kill."

Whitney joins Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Fun Facts About Whitney Cummings:

1) She is an American comedian and actress. She was formerly a cast member of the MTV television show Punk'd and was the creator and star of the NBC sitcom Whitney, as well as the co-creator of the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.

2) She interned at the local NBC news affiliate as a journalist. She began college at the University of North Carolina before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, from where she graduated magna cum laude three years later in 2004, with a degree in communications and film. She was a model before becoming an actress.

3) Cummings moved to Los Angeles after college and worked on Punk'd on MTV in 2004 and the same year starred in a low-budget thriller, EMR, which was screened at Cannes. She began performing stand-up in 2004.

Whitney will be at the Improv in Ontario Wednesday night, October 23rd then in Brea a week from Wednesday, October 30th.
