The CTA has begun calling commuters about Ventra, the CTA's new fare payment system, trying to address problems riders are experiencing.
From machines not working to cards not loading properly, it has been a bumpy transition. But now, CTA officials have a plan to help iron out the wrinkles.
If you are a Chicago Card or Chicago Card Plus user, expect to get a "courtesy call" from a CTA agent.
The call will allow you to have your Ventra questions answered - before you get to a train station.
Ventra soon will replace the CTA's two-decade old payment system.
