A Titusville city worker says he was robbed and carjacked while using the bathroom at Spaceview Park.
"Still kind of shaky," said Terry Ange after his experience.
Ange was taking a bathroom break on Tuesday afternoon when a stranger walked up to him as he dried his hands.
"He pulled a gun out and says, 'You know what this?' is and I said, 'Yes, I do!' That's when he kicked the door, held me in there and told me don't scream, don't holler or he'll kill me."
Ange works for the Titusville Solid Waste department. He happened to be driving a city vehicle, because he was on the job. The suspect made Terry walk over to his work truck, threatening him along the way.
"'If you do scream, try to run, holler, do anything like that, I will kill you!'" Ange said.
The stranger grabbed $17 from Terry's wallet, but said it wasn't enough, "Pushed me out of the way, that's when he slid in from the driver's side. He goes take me to the bank. I said I do not have a bank card, no ATM, nothing."
When Ange told him the city truck was tracked by GPS, the suspect got out of the vehicle two miles from the park, near Titusville High School.
"Titusville High was getting out too. They had to detour them back all the way around."
By then, Ange called both police and his supervisor at work. They were able to catch Eric Brent Bryan, 27, and arrest him. They discovered his weapon was actually a pellet gun.
"When they had them contained, he went into a rage and took three of them on. They had them down. He just got up slinging, like they were lap dogs," said Ange.
Bryan is charged with armed kidnapping, robbery and resisting arrest.
