Detroit police are requesting assistance from the public locating a suspect connected to a robbery that occurred at a Detroit Check-N-Go franchise on October 23, 2013. The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. at the Seven Mile Road location.

An employee told police he was opening the business when some men entered the doors behind him. Suspect #1 pulled out a gun and demanded money. The employee says he  let suspects get behind the counter where the safe was located, and that the suspects removed the money then left the building. They were seen getting away in a gold- or beige-colored SUV.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male with a medium complexion possibly 20 - 25 years of age. He is approximately five feet six inches tall weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark-gray hooded sweatshirt and a blue knit cap with a brim.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male with a medium complexion, also in the 20- to 25-year-old range. He was wearing a gray Chicago Blackhawks hat.

If anyone has any information on this case please contact the Detroit Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau at (313) 596-2519. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587) where your anonymity is always guaranteed.
