Food allergy trick-or-treat in Clawson

CLAWSON, Mich. (WJBK) -

Halloween came early for some children in Clawson. This trick-or-treat was food allergy friendly so no one has to miss out on the sweets.

We saw buckets fill of candy and other treats, but no peanuts. The event was called "Trick or Treasure." It's peanut free and tree nut free for children who have allergies. The Clawson downtown development association provided the allergy free candy at 14 and Main St. to local businesses to give away. We saw lots of adorable, costume clad cuties in the crowd!
