A woman was hospitalized Monday after attending a Hillary Clinton fundraiser at a hotel in the River North neighborhood.
The woman was attending the $5,000-a-plate fundraiser at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers at 301 E. North Water St.
A spokesman for Sheraton security said the woman fainted and was taken to a hospital.
She appeared alert and was sitting up when she was taken by ambulance, a witness said.
She may have choked, according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.
