Campus police are investigating a possible rape at UCF over the weekend.
Campus police say the possible rape happened in Garage B early Sunday morning.
According to the report, the victim met her attacker off campus, and they walked back to the garage together. That's when she says he assaulted her.
Officers got the call at around 3 a.m. Sunday. They immediately sent out a text alert to all student.
Freshman Sierra Maihak said, she was concerned it happened so close to her home.
"I had just gotten home, so I had just passed right by this area, and I thought, 'wow this could have been me,'" she told FOX 35. "It's scary because a lot of people walk around here, all different times of the night, people come home sometimes very late, and it's not comforting to know, peace of mind definitely gets jeopardized."
This is the second alleged rape at UCF this year. The first reportedly happened on an off-campus apartment complex.
Police said Monday they do not believe there is a continued threat to students.
"Although the investigation continues, we do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the campus community," said UCF spokesperson Grant J. Heston.
