ATLANTA -

An eight-grade student is being called a hero after using the Heimlich maneuver to save a classmate.

According to officials at Christ the King School, Will Galvin was in math class on Oct. 9 when he saw another student choking on a grape.  Galvin jumped into action and dislodged the grape using the Heimlich.

On Tuesday, Galvin was honored with the Project S.A.V.E. Hero Award.
