They are just three months old, but they already know how to swim. Two Sumatran tiger cubs born at the National Zoo passed a swimming test on Wednesday.
They had to take a dip in a moat and be able to climb back onto land. Both cubs, Bandar and Sukacita, passed the test.
The cubs were born on August 5.
Now that they have passed the swim test, they will be able to roam their entire outdoor enclosure. They need a little time to get used to it.
The exhibit will reopen to the public on November 18.
There are only about 350 Sumatran tigers left in the wild.
