The National Institutes of Mental Health estimate that 25 percent of college students have eating disorders.

The Delta Phi Epsilon sorority at Lawrence Technological University started a movement this week to boost women's self esteem while raising awareness about eating disorders, specifically anorexia.

The sorority members posted sticky notes across campus with positive messages, such as 'You were born to stand out'; 'Just be you!'; and 'I love your smile.' The event's organizers, Caitlin Boote and Marilyn Cannell, tell Fox 2's Deena Centofanti they have heard positive response.

The event comes in the midst of ANAD week, from the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.
