Survey: 45% Cheat Because They Feel 2nd Best To Partner's Phone

Posted: Updated:

People cheat in relationships for a variety of reasons. Some cheaters are now blaming their affair on cell phones.

According to a new survey from dating website "Victoria Milan," 45% of people say that they have cheated, or would cheat, because they feel second best to their partner's cell phone.

The say their partner pays more attention to their phone than to them, checking it constantly during dates and even during sex.

Ironically, these people also say that they would use their own mobile phone to seek an affair. In fact, 66% of respondents say they would not be unfaithful at all if new technologies didn't exist.

This trend of focusing on your cell phone and ignoring the person you should focus on is dubbed "Phubbing."

6000 of the members of Victoria Milan were surveyed.
