Mother fined after children's lunch deemed unbalanced

A Canadian mother was fined $10 by her children’s daycare after claims that the lunch she packed for them was unbalanced.

According to a report on the DailyMailOnline, Kristen Bartkiw sent lunches of beef, vegetables, fruit and dairy along with her children to school.

The workers at the school believed the lunches lacked grain, issued the children crackers, and wrote up the fine.
