Posted: Updated:
BEAR, Del. -

Get the tissues ready because this is the type of moment that gets us choked up every time.

Morgan Kline-Hill, 13, got a huge surprise Friday in front of her entire school.

Her mother, Sgt. Amy Kline, surprised her during a school assembly!

Her mother has been serving in Afghanistan for six months.

FOX 29's Dawn Timmeney was at the Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Del., to witness the scene live Friday morning. The whole school was also with them.

The surprise happened during an assembly to honor local military families and veterans.
