Was Waitress Lying About Homophobic Receipt?

Posted: Updated:
Bridgewater, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

New reports are coming out that say the waitress, Dana Morales, who claimed to be at the center of a homophobic incident where diners at the Bridgewater, New Jersey restaurant where she works didn’t leave a tip but instead wrote a comment on the receipt belittling her sexual orientation, may in fact not have happened.

The customers in this particular case have come forward with the receipts which do not contain a handwritten note and they are claiming that they left her a 20% tip, not lifestyle advice.

Another diner of the restaurant Kim Pineiro says that she feels duped by the waitress. After the incident Pineiro even took a picture with Morales and posted it on Facebook where friends and followers took the time to comment on the possibly fake homophobic incident. One comment read: “Dude I know cooks that I used to work with at Rainforest Cafe who work there and she sat behind him by the walk in where they store food and wrote it herself. She asked him to write it but he doesn’t know how to spell correctly.”

In addition, the Facebook page, Have A Gay Day, where Morales first posted the picture of the receipt shows comments from people that are having serious reservations about the truthfulness of Morales’ story.

At this time the manager of the Bridgewater restaurant confirms that Morales is still an employee there, but at this time she is off the work schedule. He also said that the restaurant’s legal team is doing a full investigation and they plan to make a statement when that investigation is complete.

The lake is called Lake Hopatcong but some would call it Lake "Hopat-conda"! Recently, there was a fifteen-foot anaconda spotted in the lake by local resident Tony Colantonio. According to Colantonio, the snake was actually harassing him while he was swimming in the lake so he proceeded to sprint out with no harm done."It was straight across, right where the boat is but a little further back. And I just got out of the water and just took off like a bandit!" He said.
