Everyone wants a tree as beautiful as the Rockefeller Center tree, though perhaps not as large.

And with Christmas less than four weeks away, the mad dash has started to get that perfect live tree.

Street corner stands along 3rd avenue on the Upper East Side have also popped up all over the city.

In fact, Manhattan was the site of the first live Christmas tree lot back in 1851.

Vendors say business has been down over the past few years but still expect to sell 4 to 500 by the holiday because many still prefer the real thing.

Experts advise to buy your tree as close to Christmas as possible to get the best prices.

If an iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts is part of your afternoon routine, expect a nudge to buy a cookie or doughnut you didn't plan on. Dunkin' Brands CEO Nigel Travis said in a phone interview Thursday that the company is pushing to get its cashiers to "upsell" to afternoon customers. It's part of an effort to increase sales after stores have emptied out after the morning rush.
