Mitch Albom's radiothon benefiting metro-Detroit charities tomorrow

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

The 2nd annual SAY Detroit Radiothon, benefiting Mitch Albom's six metro-Detroit based charities is Thursday at Somerset Collection in Troy. The event takes place in the North side Grand Court from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Celebrity guests including Hugh Jackman, Lyle Lovett, Tony Bennett, Brad Whitford, Matthew Stafford, Catherine O'Hara, local TV and Radio personalities, and many others, will join Mitch via telephone or live at the Collection.

Mitch's charities serve the region's homeless, veterans, single parents in need of daycare, homeless mothers and their children via the SAY Detroit Family Medical Clinic, as well as gifted art students who receive scholarships to attend The College for Creative Studies, and much more.
 
Last year's first annual radiothon raised over $420,000.
