Lake County school board votes to give $21 million to struggling students

Posted: Updated:

Some big changes are coming to schools in Lake County. The Orlando Sentinel reports that on Monday night the school board approved a new plan that funnels $21 million to help struggling students over the next three years.

That means some big cuts will have to happen elsewhere.

Some of the proposed changes include changing high school schedules to have more classes per day and freezing school principal pay.
