DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A hometown crowd of more than 2,000 people gathered at the Daytona Beach Bandshell cheering their hearts out for Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton. They're doing all they can to help this dynamic duo win The X Factor.
"They're humble, really good and nice," said one fan. "They're just so amazing," said another. "I love the way they sound together.
You could hear a pin drop as the songbirds sang "Say Something" on Wednesday night. Afterwards, mentor Simon Cowell said the two deserved to win.
In a post-show interview Alex said, "I feel like it went well. I mean, we did everything we could. We left everything up on the stage."
Asked about future career plans, Sierra said, "I feel like none of this will hit us until tomorrow night is over." Alex added that they are focusing on the finale, before thinking about the future. "We would love to win, but no matter what, we would have done this a hundred times over for the opportunities and the people and the friends that we've made."
The victor will be named in the season finale at 8 p.m. Thursday on FOX 35.
