GOODYEAR, Ariz. -

Goodyear police say they uncovered a drug lab at an apartment complex near I-10 and Dysart Road on Wednesday.

An anonymous call came into Goodyear police reporting an acidic smell at the Desert Sage Apartment Complex.

Officers found a flammable chemical substance in a single apartment unit and suspected illegal drug activity.

Police say 21-year-old Joshua Todd Miller was determined to live at the apartment.

The Arizona High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force was called in and confirmed officers found a drug lab that was used to produce hallucinogenic drugs.

Miller was arrested and faces charges of Dangerous Drug possession, Equipment for Manufacturing and Dangerous Drug Manufacture.

Eight apartment units were evacuated. Residents were allowed to return home around 9:30 p.m.
