Only On FOX: Inside The Party Mansion

Posted: Updated:

Nearly a month after 100 teens invaded a multi-million dollar La Habra home to throw a party, the alleged ringleader has turned himself in. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department tells our Chris Blatchford that the party promoter is a 16-year-old who advertised the party via social media and charged $3 a head for entry.

Once inside, according to sheriff's deputies, the teens damaged or stole more than a million dollars worth of property belonging to the owner of the home, Nick Radoi. Among the stolen items -- clothing, computer equipment, a suit of armor, and a stuffed snow leopard valued at more than $250,000. In the words of one officer, "Everybody in the house left with something of value."

Radoi gave Chris a private tour of the home, which has been unoccupied but fully furnished since being put up for sale a few months ago. Traces of the party remain. There are only wires where the computers once sat. The wine cellar had been ransacked, with just a few bottles of a valuable collection remaining. Three vintage slot machines had been emptied. Someone even walked away with one of the emblems -- a letter "R" for Radoi -- that had been on the gate leading up to the house.

So far, 20 people have been arrested in connection with the unauthorized party, including 2 adults and 18 minors. According to the sheriff's department, many more arrests are expected.

The house in La Habra is still for sale for about $7 million and, surprisingly -- well maybe not so surprisingly -- interest in the home has increased. According to Radoi, before the party, the online listing had gotten about 20,000 views. Since the news of the illegal party, the listing has gotten more than a half-million hits.
