HORRY COUNTY, S.C. -

The search for a missing South Carolina woman continues as her family and her employer increases the reward for information leading to closure to the case.

FOX Carolina reports that 20-year-old Heather Elvis disappeared during the early morning hours of Dec. 18 following a date. Her mother says she dropped her off at her house and then Heather called her roommate to tell her about the date.

Elvis' family has set up a Facebook page in hopes of getting the word out. The family and her employer, Tilted Kilt, are offering a combined reward of $20,000 leading to closure in the case.

There has been an active search around the area where she lives, but it has so far turned up no clues as to her whereabouts.

Anyone with further information in the case should contact the Horry County Police Department at 843-915-5350.
