SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -
A man who won the chance to meet the actors of the hit TV show "Breaking Bad" has been arrested for allegedly running his own drug operation. Florida resident Ryan Carroll is accused of manufacturing and distributing synthetic marijuana, or spice.
Police say Carroll and two other men turned a garage into their manufacturing site. Police also suspect the men sold the drug all over the United States.
"This is over a million dollars estimated street value. Now that is just in drugs and that's just in one location. And that's not counting what's out floating around on delivery," said County Sheriff Mike Scott.
Investigators found over 700 pounds of the drug and say the suspects stored their product at two locations in Fort Myers, Florida.
