PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Authorities say a third suspect is in custody and they're searching for a fourth man in connection with an armed robbery that led to the shooting of a Phoenix Police officer and Maricopa County Sheriff's Office posse member.

Police announced Friday that Jason Beau Keep, 35, is being held on suspicion to commit armed robbery. Detectives are now looking for 30-year-old William Herbert Mayes in the case.

A robbery of $18,000 from two strip club employees Tuesday in east Phoenix led to a police chase and the wounding of the officer and posse member.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson say 34-year-old Officer Scott Sefranka had been in critical condition, but is showing signs of improvement.

The family of the 63-year-old sheriff's posse member haven't released his name and police don't have an update on his condition.

If you have any information regarding Mayes' whereabouts, call the Phoenix Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

This is a developing story.  Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.
