One veteran learned that what goes around comes around. The whole thing started when a Vietnam Veteran gave an Afghanistan Veteran tickets to the Cincinnati Bengals playoff game.
Active and veteran military personnel lined up at an area Kroger store Saturday for a chance to get two free tickets. Within thirty minutes, the tickets were gone.
John Norris a Vietnam Veteran couldn't help but pay it forward to Afghanistan vet, Brett Bondurant. Bondurant lost his legs at war.
"When he walked in, I knew that is why I was standing in line. To give him them tickets," Norris recalled.
When the story got around about Norris's generous offer, many offered their tickets to him. A bartender of the Blue Wisp Restaurant and Jazz Club even offered him three tickets.
"I am still going to watch the game either way, but there is nothing like being in the stadium…"
Norris brought his twin granddaughters to the game.
