RIVER GROVE, Ill. (Associated Press) -

Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Glen Kozlowski is the new football coach at a suburban Chicago high school.

In a news release, Guerin College Preparatory High School says Kozlowski will be the head coach of the varsity team.

Kozlowski had been an All-American wide receiver at Brigham Young when he was drafted in 1986 by the Bears. Between 1987 and 1992 he caught 31 passes for 471 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Bears.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Kozlowski coached at North Chicago High School for five seasons until last November.

The release says Kozlowski, a co-host of "Sports Central" on Radio 720 WGN, will also serve as a community engagement officer for the school of approximately 450 students.
