But finding work -- especially a dream job -- remains tough for those just graduating. Many are settling for jobs outside their fields of study or for less pay than they'd expected or hoped for.

A NYPD plan intended to better connect with the community seems to have backfired a bit. The police department asked its twitter followers to share pictures of themselves with New York City police officers using the hashtag "myNYPD." Some did share nice pictures, but others not so much. Some of the first pictures posted showed regular citizens standing with very friendly looking police officers.

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday to earn a trip the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks.

That has 49er fans excited, but one member of the 49er faithful is taking his faith to a whole new level.

This Montana pastor shortened his sermon, so he could get home and watch the game.

"You may not be aware that there's a football game starting in a few moments."

Video of Pastor Tim Christiansen and his one minute sermon to his congregation on Sunday ahead of the 49ers - Panthers game has gone viral.

"Would you all like to be forgiven for your sins?  Yes, okay that's great.. you are."

Pastor Tim was in a hurry to watch his team play in their biggest game of the season.

"There's some bread and wine on the table, so feel free to help yourself."

He says not everyone was happy to see his love of football trump his love of faith, but says the whole think was a joke.

"I just did that one minute bit, he clipped it and that's where it ended.  I actually came in and did a full worship service.  After that, went home and watched the game later," he said.  "We went to bed last night and there were like 700 views on his YouTube video.  Got up this morning and it was 4,000.. we were just cracking up."

That video now has over 90,000 views, but Pastor Tim is having a good laugh and says God would too.  As for who the big guy would like to see win on Sunday?

"He wants to see you in church."

And that's exactly where Pastor Tim will be this Sunday.

"Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.  Okay, we will.. and I'm outta here."

Lucky for Pastor Tim, the game starts well after his Sunday service is over.
