Woman identified in Downtown Orlando shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Police say a woman was targeted and shot near the Amway Center in Orlando early Wednesday morning.

Orlando Police say officers heard shots being fired in a parking lot on Lime Avenue in the Parramore neighborhood around 5:15am.

Police say they found 48-year-old Theresa Carter on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. They say at least one wound is to her back.

Investigators say Carter was targeted by an unknown gunmen who is still on the loose. 

Officials say the victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Investigators say no arrests have been made and they are still on scene searching information.
