Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's top staffers are among 20 people and organizations subpoenaed in a widening traffic jam scandal that has shaken his administration.

Christie's chief of staff, chief counsel and top communications aide are among those to receive subpoenas Thursday and Friday. Christie for Governor also was subpoenaed.

The subpoenas seek documents in the investigation of a scheme to close traffic lanes near the George Washington Bridge, causing massive traffic tie-ups. The plot may have been carried out to settle a political score.

Some of those on the list could be called to testify later.

The lawyer representing on person implicated in the plot says his client would testify if granted immunity from prosecution.

Christie has apologized for the traffic jams and said they "blindsided" him. He has called his staff's behavior "stupid."

Here is the complete list of subpoenas related to 'Bridgegate':

Robert De Niro is a family man, a filmmaker, an entrepreneur and one of my favorite actors of all time. He's also a co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has more to see than ever before. De Niro wears just as many hats on screen as he does in real life. The father of six starred in six films last year, owns four restaurants and a hotel, and still finds time each spring for the Tribeca Film Festival, Lower Manhattan's annual cinematic showcase.
