In just a few days, Universal Studios will announce when the newest addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open.
Details will be revealed Thursday morning during a live webcast which will be hosted by members of the Universal Orlando Creative Department and feature James Phelps from the Harry Potter films.
The expansion, called "Diagon Alley," is themed around the city of London as depicted in the Harry Potter books, the company said in a statement.
"Diagon Alley" is situated within the Universal Studios Florida theme park and not in Islands of Adventure, where the current Wizarding World attraction resides. Guests will travel between "London" and Wizarding World aboard the Hogwarts Express, the train Harry Potter took between London and Hogsmeade, Universal Orlando said.
Diagon Alley's marquee attraction is inspired by the book series' Gringotts bank. Shops and restaurants are also planned.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction opened at Islands of Adventure in June 2010.
