Taste Of The NFL Raises Money For Food Banks

Posted: Updated:

There have been plenty of parties leading up to the Super Bowl. But there was one that brought dozens of chefs together to raise money for a good cause.

The taste of the NFL's "Party with a Purpose" brings together football fans, players and some of the country's most famous chefs to support hunger relief.

Chefs representing each NFL team's home state set up booths, offering dishes representing their home towns.

More than 3,000 people were at the event, including some famous food stars.

Proceeds from the event benefit food banks in every NFL city.

Philadelphia was represented by Chef Jack McDavid of Jack's Firehouse in Fairmount.
