ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

In the middle of a sea of red, white, blue and green sat a star.  Malcolm Smith, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVIII, spent the day after the big game at the big park.

"I'm just so happy and elated," said Smith. "I'm just taking it all in."

Fans came from near and far to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks player at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort on Monday afternoon.

"I couldn't be more excited," said Austin Nelson, another visiting fan. "I'm excited to see him. Hopefully, get a quick autograph."

"This is amazing," said Lacey Kern, a fan visiting from Seattle. "This is so exciting."

Seahawks fanatics like Kern couldn't believe their luck. She planned this trip a year ago.

"Always loved the team even when they had rough years," said Kern.

Fans lined the Magic Kingdom to get a picture of the linebacker during the afternoon celebratory parade. They then watched and waited while Smith was interviewed by network anchors and local reporters and then took photos with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

This was Smith's first trip to Disney World.

"I don't think it's hit me yet," said Smith. "I'm kind of just enjoying the moment being here. Just a couple of hours ago I was stuck in the snow."
