Abandoned puppies saved

Posted: Updated:
DALLAS, Ga. -

During last week's snow storm, someone dumped a litter of puppies in the snow on the side of the road in Henry County.

A woman saw the puppies and called the police. The officer found the puppies freezing out in the cold.

Henry County Animal Control then reached out to Friends To The Forlorn - a pit bull rescue group.

Volunteers in Paulding County then picked up the puppies - seven total.

The puppies are lucky to be alive. And now, they need a good home.

For more information on adopting these puppies, or donating supplies, go online to Saving Pit Bulls or Friends to the Forlorn online.
