Culinary Students Go For A Big, Tasty Record

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -

Countless tourists everyday pick up a package of Georgia pecan pralines to remember us by. But chances are, this one won't fit in their station wagon.

Friday, a group of 3,000 culinary students from Georgia gathered at the Georgia International Conference Center to create the World's Largest Georgia Pecan Praline. The goal? Set a 500-pound Guinness World Record. It's all part of the 10th annual Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia Expo. The HEFG is a non-profit organization supporting culinary programs around the state with scholarships and supplies.

So how did the praline turn out? We couldn't keep Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken from heading there to find out.
