Police Arrest Three Suspects Connected To Store Robberies

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. -

Police in Camden County have arrested three individuals in connection with four convenience store robberies.

Officers have arrested 27-year-old Bryan Hawthorne, 28-year-old Charles Richards, and 28-year-old Elizabeth Albertson.

A resident in the area reported to police about a silver Ford Focus parked near a liquor store that appeared suspicious.

Police found ski mask, gloves and an air soft gun that matched the description in several Camden and Burlington County robberies.

It appears that in all but one of the cases, both men entered the business and stole cash, liquor and cigarettes. In all four cases Albertson is accused of being the getaway driver.

The robberies happened on the following dates:

1/31/14 - The Liquor Mill, 200 block of S. White Horse Pike in Magnolia. Richards and Albertson charged.

2/2/14 - The Wine Nova Store, 400 block of N. White Horse Pike in Stratford. All three defendants charged.

2/4/14 - Pike Liquors, 600 block of N. White Horse Pike in Lindenwold. All three defendants charged.

2/4/14 - Richards Liquors, 1200 block of the N. Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township. All three defendants charged.

Richards is charged with counts of Robbery 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 3rd degree, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose 2nd degree, pointing a Firearm 4th degree and Conspiracy 2nd degree, for each robbery, resulting in a total of 20 criminal counts.

Albertson is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 3rd degree, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose 2nd degree., pointing a Firearm 4th degree and Conspiracy, 2nd degree for each robbery, also resulting in a total of 20 criminal counts.

Hawthorne did not participate in one of the robberies, and is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 3rd degree, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose 2nd degree, Pointing a Firearm 4th degree and Conspiracy, 2nd degree for each robbery, resulting in 15 counts.
