A new email scam is targeting those grieving the loss of a loved one by sending people fraudulent emails about funeral services.

The Federal Trade Commission says the emails have links that claim to give people detailed information about the service.  Instead… clicking on those links installs malicious software that can take over your computer or smart device, allowing scammers to see everything you’re typing.

Barbara Pinson Lash caught up with a software engineer and a local funeral home manager to tell this story.
